Attention Ocean Heroes!!!
We got our first donation from the lovely Charlie, who donated 40 dollars for the club!!!
Charlie raised the money for vaquitas, an extremely endangered porpoise (There are only about 10 of them left!!!) that lives in the gulf of Mexico. She worked really hard selling bracelets and necklaces, but couldn't find a good organization to donate to, so instead, she gave the money to us!

The non-profit organization, The Porpoise Conservation Society, found here: https://porpoise.org seems like a good resource for learning more about the endangered Vaquita porpoise (found in the gulf of California, Mexico). You can also adopt a Vaquita from this organization or donate to help raise awareness and support research and conservation efforts!
